Summer Sounds Concert Series brings live music to Steel Lake Park

The City of Federal Way Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department is proud to present its 2007 Summer Sounds at the Beach concert series at Steel Lake Park. The Wednesday evening events showcase live bands from across the Puget Sound area, bringing an eclectic entertainment line-up to the community throughout the summer.
This year's concert series is sponsored by the Federal Way Arts Commission, 4 Culture, Washington Mutual Home Loans, Eagle Tire & Automotive, Windermere Real Estate,
Columbia Bank, Keller Williams Realty, Ball Chiropractic Center, and American Family Insurance.
Music goes from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The concerts are free of charge and suitable for everyone. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets to the park.
In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be re-located to the Federal Way Community Center

The Islanders

Buck and Elizabeth

The perfect recipe for successful family fun, Buck & Elizabeth bring a dash of comedy and a handful of dancing, ventriloquism, and audience participation to their performances. This high-energy act uses music and entertainment to educate children with positive messages on topics such as teamwork, self esteem, safety, history, and cultural diversity. Fiesta Mexicana

Fiesta Mexicana is a four-piece band that began in Mexico in 1988 Their instrumentation is typical of mariachis. The group plays music from all over Mexico and has been featured at festivals, clubs, concerts, and private parties throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Broken Trail

This high-energy, kickin' country band has played Top 40 and classic country music for over 10 years. Born in 1996 out of a love for live music, the band fights to save the honky-tonks, rejuvenating the country style within casinos, clubs, and at fairs and rodeos. Broken Trail is one of the most popular country bands in the Northwest, with a large fan base that continues to grow.
