Aaron Broussard connected for 31 points to lead the Eagles past Fort Vancouver in Friday, Nov. 30 non-league action. Jeff Forbes was next with nine points, while Andre Barrington scored eight and Ian Tevis seven.

Girls basketball

TJ 66, Stadium 35

Thomas Jefferson used balanced scoring to earn a lopsided win over Stadium of Tacoma on Friday, Nov. 30.

Stacey Albrecht and Sofia Malamura hit 10 apiece and Hannah Kiyohara and Jillian Rasmussen added nine each. Unique Taufa'asau scored eight and Valerie Voellger hit seven.

Federal Way 59, Clover Park 50

Walton tossed in 22 points to lead the Eagles to victory over Clover Park of the South Puget Sound League 3A division. Jacquie Evenson scored 15, Barrington eight and Dixon seven.

Federal Way 58, Prairie 52

Federal Way picked up another win Saturday, Dec. 1 as its tour of Southwest Washington continued.

Broussard and Isiah Umipig both led in that one with 14 points. Montrel Walton tallied 10 and Forbes added eight.

TJ 74, Beamer 63

Thomas Jefferson scored a win over its crosstown but non-league rivals Saturday, Dec. 1.

Spenser Sydney hit 23 points for the Raiders as Zavyr Moss swished in 17, Jeff Baklund 13, J.R. Richey nine and Joe Satterwhite eight.

Dakin Wanquist scored 26 points for Todd Beamer as Andrew Winton hit 14 and Philip Davis 11.

Kiyohara and Malumura managed 16 points apiece in the Saturday, Dec. 1 Raiders win and Albrecht was next with eight.

Spenser Sydney scored a team-high 18 points for the Raiders in last Tuesday's win and Michael Hunter backed him up with 17. Zavyr Moss scored eight.

Decatur 92, Kentlake 67

Marcus Tibbs scored 21 points as the Gators won their SPSL North opener. Darious Walker added 17, Michael Hale 16, Cam Schilling nine and Jordan McCloud eight.

Todd Beamer opened its SPSP South action with a win. Dakin Wanquist led with 28 points as Andrew Winton scored 16 and Napa Mefi eight.

Sofia Malamura swished in 16 points to lead the Raiders to victory in their SPSL North opener. Keely Nelson-Rivers scored 11 and Stacey Albright 10.

Sarah Quantz scored 12 points as Decatur lost its SPSL North openr by seven points. Tenea Holcomb knocked in nine and Courtney Goss hit eight.

Kaylah Scott hit 15 points in Todd Beamer's SPSL South-opening loss.

Kentlake scored 150.5 points to win last Wednesday's meet aehad of Thomas Jefferson (148.75), Kentwood (140.25) and Federal Way (131.70).

Jennifer Wamlsey won the vault for TJ with a score of 8.5 and teammate Jennifer McCreery took the beam with an 8.0.

Wrestling

Kentwood 65, Federal Way 6

Justin Southern won the 171-pound weight class for Federal Way by a 4-3 score and teammate Johnathan Detzler took the 215-pound class, 4-2.
