On July 18, at approximately 12:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting at the park at Dash Point Apartments, located at 317th and 50th Lane Southwest in Federal Way.
When officers arrived a 25-year-old white male victim was located and determined to have suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
A second 22-year-old white male victim was later discovered at Auburn General Hospital, he was later transported to Harborview where he remains in serious condition.
The investigation has revealed that approximately 15 people had gathered in the parking lot area of the complex and a dispute ensued, leading to shooting.
Detectives have not determined the reason for the gathering or the cause of the dispute.
Federal Way Police Detectives identified a 20-year-old white male suspect as the shooter in this incident.
The suspect was located, arrested and brought to the station for an interview. Following the interview an arrest was made.
Aliaksandr Rashchuk, born on 10/22/1987 and a resident of Auburn, has been arrested and will be booked into the King County Jail on investigation of First Degree Murder.
The association between the individuals at the scene is still part of the ongoing investigation as well as motive for the shooting.
Three firearms were recovered at the scene and one vehicle has been impounded for evidence.
Federal Way Police Detectives will process the firearms and vehicle.

The King County Medical Examiners Office has taken custody of the 25-year-old white male victim and will release his identification through their office, following the determination of cause of death.
