To the Editor:

Where have the flags at the Aquatic Center gone? First thought is, how much did these flag poles cost, including installation, plus electricity? Approx 36 of them, where did they go? Where are they you ask?

This is on 336th, passing the Aquatic Center in Federal Way. Where did all the flags and poles go?

I would like to know, who voted for this originally, and then who was the one that planted all the trees in front of them all.

I love the drive in the winter months, as all the leaves are gone, and the flags and poles have returned.

What a beautiful site it is, so patriotic, the wind blowing them, makes you stop and think of how proud we are to be an American, and also how proud to live in Federal Way. With the special holidays that happening, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, it would be nice if we could see the flags all year round.

I would like to know how we can go about to bring the flags back through out the year.

Let's remove those trees so we can all enjoy the reminder of our patriotism for this wonderful City and Country of ours.
