Wallet stolen from locker

1. A man contacted Federal Way police to file an online police report after his wallet had been stolen from inside a facility at 36201 Enchanted Parkway South. The man wrote in his report that he had placed his wallet in a locker at the facility, but did not lock the lock. He said that he briefly stepped away from the locker to make a quick phone call and when he returned, the man discovered that his wallet was gone. The man told police that he discovered his credit card had been used without his permission. An unknown person or persons used his credit card to purchase gas in the amount of $64.89. The incident occurred sometime between 9:15 and 9:20 p.m. on the evening of August 25. There is no suspect information listed in the report and officers have closed the case pending new leads.
Paintball gun vandals destroy LCD TV
2. The resident of an apartment complex located at 31500 1st Avenue South contacted Federal Way police via an online report to notify authorities that an unknown person or person had vandalized their home. The entire front of the screen of the LG TV had a crack that covered the entire front of the 42-inch television. The incident occurred sometime around 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of August 25. The owner of the television, which was valued at $1,000, said they determined the cause of the damage to be a paintball pellet. After investigating the area, the owner of the television discovered that the vandals had shot paintballs at various things around the play area and pool of the Greystone Meadows apartment complex, including the victim's screen porch. It is believed that the vandals shot through the victim's porch, striking their television. No suspect information is listed in the report, and officers have closed the case pending new leads.
Traffic stop leads to arrest of fugitives
3. Federal Way traffic officers pulled over the driver of a white 1997 Cadillac for a routine equipment violation. The incident took place around 2 a.m. on the morning of August 25. Officers stopped the vehicle near 29500 Pacific Highway South. The driver of the car, Jamar Jackson, was determined to be violating the law by driving with a suspended license. The passenger, Dominique Evans, was apparently intoxicated and under the legal drinking age. Upon searching the suspects, it was determined that Evans was indeed under 21 and had several outstanding warrants. The Federal Way officers cited both suspects and transported them to the King County Justice Center in Kent for booking.
Domestic assault leads to arrest of abuser
4. Federal Way police followed up on a 911 call reporting that there was a domestic disturbance that had turned violent. The incident took place at an apartment complex at 27912 Pacific Highway South. According to the report, the incident took place around 8 a.m. on the morning of August 25. The victim called police to report that her boyfriend, Cornell R. Wiley had assaulted her during an argument. Wiley admitted to being involved in an argument with the victim, and he also admitted that the altercation had turned violent. The victim told police that the suspect had pushed her into a piece of furniture near where their child was sleeping, causing several items to fall on the sleeping child. Wiley was immediately arrested and booked on charges of Assault 4/Domestic Violence, domestic violence in the presence of a child and domestic violence with strangulation. No other information is listed in the report.
Mother finds son's marijuana pipe after he's in the slammer
5. A woman contacted Federal Way police to report that she had found an object that could perhaps be drug paraphernalia. The woman lives in an apartment complex at 317 Southwest 322nd Street, and reported the incident around 10:30 a.m. on the morning of August 25. The woman reported that during the course of her cleaning she discovered a small, multi-colored glass pipe she believed was used for smoking marijuana. The woman told police that she believes the pipe may belong to her son. The woman added that her son is currently in custody and is a juvenile. The woman turned the pipe over to police so that they would destroy it. The report was made for information only and the police suggest that the pipe be destroyed, with not further police action to be taken.
Shoplifters caught with more than just stolen goods
6. Three juvenile suspects entered the Sears department store, located at 1701 S. Commons on the afternoon of August 25. The three juveniles selected, concealed and damaged $309.00 in merchandise, then exited the store without any attempt to pay for the items. When they were searched by police, the juveniles were found to be in possession of merchandise from Claire's and Wet Seal as well. One of the suspects was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia as well. There were at least two eye witnesses who spotted the juveniles attempt to steal the merchandise from the store. The three were cited and released. No other information about this shoplifting incident is mentioned in the police report.
