The Scandinavian Cultural Center Council is inviting its members to submit nominations for the 2007 Outstanding Service Award. This annual award is presented to a person who has shown extraordinary commitment to the mission and goals of the organization.

Past recipients include: Florence Buck; Joanne Klein; Hans Bjornen; Inge Miller; Betty Larsen; and Janet Rudd.

The nominee must have served or be currently serving on the council and may not be an employee of Pacific Lutheran University.

Send nominations to ruudj1norw@aol.com or 7324 N. Skyview Pl., Unit E-104., Tacoma 98406. Include your contact information and four to five paragraphs describing your nominee's contributions to the council. The deadline is June 1.
