A gala is slated for Nov. 10 to support the Ballard Boys and Girls Club.
Lombardi's Neighborhood Italian restaurant is celebrating 20 years at their Ballard location with the Garlic Festival 20th Anniversary Gala to benefit the club.
"It's quite an honor. This is a big event. They have given us support over the years," said Mark Hendricks, director of the boys and girls club.
The event is has received the support of Washington Mutual Bank and CKM Associates, managers of the Ballard Building where Lombardi's is located.
The club has a yearly membership of 1,800 and runs three day care programs in Ballard, Magnolia and Queen Anne. A board of directors raises funds to operate the boys and girls club. Other revenue comes from the daycare operations.
Tickets are $50 per person. Proceeds directly support the Ballard Boys and Girls Club. Tickets are available on-line at http://www.lombardisitalian.com . Call Dane Addison at 425.391.9097, e-mail at dane@lombardisitalian.com or Mark Hendricks at 783.5775, mhendricks@positiveplace.org.
