Stabbing: July 10 - in the 16300 block of International Blvd., after refusing entry to the suspect a bouncer at the Safari Club was stabbed in the throat with a bladed screwdriver. He was later in stable condition at a hospital.
Fight: July 9 - in the 16300 block of International Blvd., at 2:40 a.m. a fight broke out in the parking lot of the Safari Club. When officers arrived, a large group of males were confronting each other and beer bottles littered the lot.
Damaged police radar: July 2 - McMicken Heights, at about 1:20 a.m., police responded to a report that a hit-and-run driver had knocked over the police radar trailer, causing damage to the traffic device. When officers arrived a witness said the suspect vehicle looked like a Jeep Cherokee. It hit the radar trailer, then the driver backed up and sped off out of the area. The vehicle should have some front-end damage. An investigation continues and the trailer will be repaired soon.
