Possible domestic dispute in progress. Officer knocked on the door and it was opend by a small child. As the door opened officer. Complainant reported that about $250 was stolen from the locked black box located in the cart inside safeway on 7/24/05. A note was left regarding the theft on the cart written on a white piece of paper in a black marker. It is unknown who left the note. The note was retained for evidence. Also stolen was a backpack .
Alpine CD player, music, Kenwood subwoofer, Pioneer amplifier. Loss set at $1,425.00 Victim called to report his vehicle was broken into overnight while in the apartment complex parking lot. Found two windows broken out and his stereo equipment and backpack stolen. There are no witnesses and physical evidence. No further investigation.
C1 reported between the above listed times on 7/25 she was walking on the BPA trail and passed an Indian/mixed race male, 15-17 y.o., 175-190 lbs, dark brown short hair, clean shaven, wearing shiny reflective sunglasses and a headset for music , passed her on a black/silver mountain bike and stated to her "You have a nice butt." C1 stated the subject then rode off in the opposite direction and possibly went around the dog trail and started riding away.
16th Ave. So. Business owner called to report damage to one of their business's windows (approx. $100 damage). Reports they found an outside window to the office broken in. Subject said nothing is missing and there is no sign of the broken pieces of glass; she also found that someone had defecated in one of their outside buckets to wash trucks with. Believes it is most likely a transient came by the business and did the damage.
Caller one reported that his wife took his prescription meds. Suspect one admitted to taking the meds and using them and said she has an addiction.
Victim called to report damage to her vehicle which occurred overnight while the vehicle was parked in her carport at the complex. Reports she came out and found the driver's door punched. Access was not gained to the inside of the vehicle-nothing is missing. There are no witnesses. No investigation will follow.
Victim called to report the theft of 2 gas cans from his unlocked and open garage. Reports he came up from the basement and noticed a black or dark blue pickup which sped away. He checked around and the only thing he noticed missing were the 2 half-full gas cans.
Someone found a wallet containing $200 cash at a gas station. Officer attempted to contact the name listed on the driver's license. Wallet was booked into evidence.
A victim came into the station to report identity theft. She said she recently found multiple negative accounts , names, and dates of birth associated with her social security number through an Experian credit report. In contacting the various companies they have told her someone has been using her social security number over the last five years to open various accounts. They are requiring she make a police report in order to remove the negative accounts.
Two officers responded to a report of an assault at the Cafe Arizona. The victim was contacted at St. Francis Hospital. Suspect was contacted at Care Arizona and transported to the Federal Way PD where she was interviewed and released.
