As an Arbor Heights parent, I commend you for bringing these alleged financial misdeeds to light (Page One, July 20). It seems to me that any budgetary finagling by a public school principal goes beyond the realm of a "personnel issue," and warrants a public airing.
In addition, the issue of retribution against a whistle-blowing teacher needs to be addressed. Strong-arm tactics and stonewalling are certainly not an effective strategy for a school district in desperate need of some positive public relations.
I implore you to not let this issue die, as many in this administration would desire.
Thank you for your time.
