A man reported that thieves broke into his boat stored at 1112 South 344th St. The owner of the boat was out of town at the time

A man called to report that his vehicle, parked at the Azteca Restaurant, was broken into between 8 and 9 p.m. He said that he did not notice anything wrong right away, but then realized that the passenger wing window had been broken to gain access to the inside of the vehicle. Thieves lifted an IBM laptop, valued at more than $1,100, a Nike gym bag, binoculars, a check book and a briefcase from his 2002 Ford. The man said that he was most concerned about the briefcase, which contained the personal information (credit reports and loan applications) from a dozen of his clients.
A woman told officers that she had briefly left her cell phone at the apartment pool at 111 SW 330th Street. She then discovered that another woman had the phone. The suspect said that she intended to turn in the phone after she was done swimming.
Carjackers lifted a 1991 Honda from 2222 South 314th Street around 6:45 p.m. The victim reported that she had left CDs, a CD player, clothing and a book in the vehicle. Her friends reported that she had last seen the car around 1 p.m.
A woman reported a series of threats and harassment via instant message from an unknown suspect. The victim recently broke up with an online boyfriend and she believes that one of her boyfriend's friends was sending the threats-to-kill messages. The suspect was using several screen names including public_juggalo6662000 and psychopathic_juggalo6662000.
Officers arrived at 34004 16th Avenue South #104 and arrested Richard A. Mangan with an outstanding warrant.
CPS alerted Federal Way officers that a four-year-old child was reportedly molested by her mother's boyfriend. Officers spoke to the child's legal guardian, and she stated that the child disclosed to her that the man had touched her on her privates over her bare skin. The man is still living in the same residence as the child.
The resident of 1900 SW Campus Drive, #13-203, contacted Federal Way police and reported the theft of a packet of bank information from her kitchen. The woman hosted a party on 6/22, where she believes one of the guests lifted the information. The suspect then used the information to make charges to her bank account.
The resident of 2111 SW 352nd Street reported that unknown white males pulled up in a white Mercury and threw a rock into the back window of his 1991 Honda. The man said that he has no idea who would cause damage to him or his vehicle.
Officers responded to a call from a woman complaining that a man, with whom she shares a child, threatened to "shoot up" the apartment. The victim, who lives at 2401 SW 334th Place, #M3, was afraid because she knew that the suspect previously had a shotgun. Officers could not locate the suspect.
Federal Way police responded to a call at 33420 26th Avenue SW, where a man reported suspicious circumstances at his residence. The caller said that there was a vehicle parked nearby that he did not recognize. When he pulled up to his residence, at least two men got out of the car and asked him for a cigarette. One of the men got upset when the resident told them "no," and began arguing with him and threw an apple at him. The men in the suspicious vehicle said that if he called 911 they would kill him and burn his house down. The men left in a green Ford Tarus.
Police responded to a call from an Alzheimer's home at 491 South 338th Street, where the staff told officers that a man, who suffers severely from the disease, grabbed another patient by the neck and tried to strangle her. The man, who had been there for less than one week, was transported to the Harborview Psyche ward.
The resident of 125 SW Campus Drive, #3-103 called to report that his wife was threatening him. The suspect thought that the man was cheating on her. She used the internet to access his cell phone log and found calls to and from another woman. The woman told her husband that she would kill him and the other woman. She accessed the internet again, possibly in an attempt to determine the other woman's address from her phone number. The wife armed herself with her husband's semi-automatic handgun.
Federal Way police arrested Bryant D. Jeffrey at 30165 2nd Place South on an outstanding Kent warrant. Officers found suspected narcotics, likely crystal meth, in his vehicle when they apprehended him.
