It doesn't make sense
This is in response to an Aug. 31 article, particularly the following passage, "Southwest has proposed building a $130 million eight-gate terminal and seven-level parking garage. They would deed the facilities to King County after 50 years, company officials said."
My question is this: if we blow up a 30-year-old stadium because it is out of date, and we close schools that are 40 years old because they are decaying, why are we getting so excited about inheriting a 50-year-old airport terminal?
That simply does not make sense.
