Kennedy 63, Renton 0
Kennedy scored 42 points in the first quarter to leave Renton far away in its rear-view mirror Saturday, Sept. 24.
Jeremy Bland opened by scoring on a 46-yard run and Trevor Steen kicked his first of eight extra points.
Mark Airhart returned a fumble 32 yards for the second JFK touchdown, then Nate Williams scored on a 49-yard punt return and a 25-yard run.
Tyrese Lopez then connected with Everett Thompson on a 19-yard touchdown pass. Lopez then found D'Angelo Jones open on a 47-yard pass and Lopez ran in on his own touchdown from 48 yards.
Lopez hit Jeremy Bland with a 7-yard touchdown pass and Langston Compeland ran from the four for the final score.
Evergreen 39, Highline 0
Evergreen took a 26-0 lead by halftime Thursday and coasted to victory from there.
Phong Nguyen scored on a 33-yard run and the kick for the extra point failed, then Randal Henderson snatched a 45-yard touchdown pass from Luther Leonard and Moises Riviera made the PAT kick.
Nguyen ran for a 2-yard touchdown to open the second quarter and Riviera made the extra point. Henderson then caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Leonard with the extra point try failing.
Tobias Togi rumbled for a 49-yard touchdown with the kick failing, then Riviera was successful on the PAT following a 14-yard touchdown run by Brandon Perry.
Mt. R. 26, Hazen 20
Mike Johnson scored on two 4-yard runs and one 23-yard run to lead the Rams to victory Friday. Zachary Vanderport added a 60-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Vanderport also caught a pass from Craig Robinson for a two-point conversion.

Kennedy
JFK played six matches at the Northshore Tournament in Bothell Saturday, Sept. 24.
The Lancers defeated Bonney Lake, 25-14, 25-14, 15-6, to open, then lost to Bothell, 25-16, 25-22, 15-8. Skyline topped the Lancers, 17-25, 25-23 15-12. Kennedy then pinned a 25-15, 17-25, 15-8 loss on Mercer Island and a 25-12, 25-19 loss on West Seattle. TheLancers wrapped up the tournament with a 25-11, 25-21 win over Hazen for the consolation title.

The Warriors of Seattle Christian were 25-11, 25-21, 27-5 winners over Cascade Christian Monday, Sept. 26.
Lydia Huget led with kills and Annika Linman had 18 assists.

The Pirates sailed past the Wolverines Tuesday, Sept. 27 by a 25-13, 25-18, 25-21 score.
Ashley Vaughn racked up 19 assists, four digs and four aces. Catie/Vigen led with six kills and had two aces and three blocks as well.

The Totems absorbed a 25-19, 25-15, 25-14 loss to the Highlanders Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Murphie Muir had three aces and four kills for Tyee while Moonie Fuavai had three kills and Barbara Yandall 10 assists.

The Rams racked up a 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 victory Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Mount Rainier was a 25-9, 25-89, 25-13 winner over Renton Thursday. Lynnae Wilson led with six aces and Chelsea Miller and Leka Faufusi led with three kills apiece.

Evergreen topped the Totems by a 25-13, 25-23, 25-22 score Thursday.
Barbara Yandall had four aces, one dig and 10 assists for Tyee.

The Pirates prevailed over the Highlanders Thursday, 25-15, 25-17, 25-19.

The Lancers won a 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 decision Friday. Rachel Moran had 16 assists, Stephanie Slatt nine kills and Angela Smith four digs.

Amy Anderson made 12 saves as the goalie for Evergreen Lutheran, but it was still Rainier Christian that came away with the win.

Ashley Engel earned the shutout on goal for Kennedy Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Dani Diaz scored the first goal in the fourth minute on a Jessica Muskell assist and Jackie Thomas scored on Lauren Donlin and Melissa DeFaccio assist in the 25th minute. Ellen Lewis assisted Donlin on a goal in the 36th minute and Thomas was assisted by Gabby Besaw in the 38th.
In the second half, Amanda Arntz was assisted by Natalya Wood in the 53rd minute. Diaz scored on a Donlin assist in the 57th and Stephany Depew struck in the 63rd minute.
Highline 7, Renton 0
Brianna Lemmar recorded the shutout on goal for the Pirates Tuesday, Sept. 27. Maddi Davila scored the opening goal in the first minute and Estella Hage struck in the third minute on Kaitlyn Heinsohn assist. Kayci Donatelli scored in the eighth minute and Heinsohn put one into the back of the net on a Maddie Guidos assist in the 13th. Jane Connely scored on a Joie Howell assist in the 25th. Donetelli put in a goal in the 47th minute and Rachel Jones scored on a Davila assist in the 70th.
Eatonville 3, SCS 2
Alyssa Harney scored in the fifth minute on a Noelle Simpson assist, but Seattle Christian did not strike again until the 80th minute on a Simpson goal assisted by Elissa Kane. Eatonville scored three times in between.

The Bulldogs were blanked in Tuesday, Sept. 27 action.
Mt. R. 2, Highline 1
Highline scored first in last Thursday's loss, with Maddie Davila putting in a Maddie Guidos assist in the seventh minute. It was all Mount Rainier from there, however. Sarah Martinez scored in the 30th minute on a Nicole Murray assist and Martinez and Murray connected again in the 36th minute.

Cris Lewis and Ashley Engel split the shutout, and Jackie Thomas scored the Lancers' first goal on a Dani Diaz assist in the sixth minute. Lauren Donlin then scored in the 15th minute on a Taylor Trautmann assist and Stephany Depew struck on a Jessica Miskell assist in the 22nd. Thomas booted home an Amanda Arntz assist in the 35th minute.
In the second half for Kennedy, Donlin scored on a Laissa Nuss assist in the 60th minute and Diaz nailed a penalty kick in the 63rd minute. Gabby Besaw scored on an Ellen Lewis assist in the 70th minute.

Lindbergh flew past Evergreen in the Friday night game.

Cory Peterson scored the opening goal on a Nic Sangder assist in the 11th minute, then Erik Seeman scored in the 58th minute. Peterson put in the final SCS goal on a Chad Cain assist in the 65th minute.

Foster's lone win came in No. 3 doubles Monday, Sept. 26. Kiro Lisovac and Kevin Villaruz combined for the 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (7-1) victory.

Kennedy 118, Mt. R. 68
Kennedy jumped off to a fast start by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:56.06. The Rams' Allyson Schumacher took the 200 free in 2:03.05 and JFKs Allie Vetterlein won the 200 IM in 2:16.44. Brianne Lindblad won the 50 free for Kennedy in 25.52 and teammate Danielle Roush came through to win diving. The Rams' Rice took the 100 butterfly in 1:03.34, with JFK's Lindblad taking the 100 free in 56.15. Mount Rainier's Schumacher won the 500 free in 5:29.19. The Lancers took the 200 free relay in 1:45.53 before Nikki Vetterlein took the 100 backstroke in 1:04.36. Allie Vetterlein won the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.13 and the Rams finished by winning the 400 free relay in 3:57.23.

Hazen took first place in every event of Thursday's meet.

Highline won the 200 medley relay in 2:04.35 Thursday, then had Janine Reynolds take the 200 free in 2:21.59 and Megan Low the 200 IM in 2:30.91. Mica Bailey won the 50 free in 26.21 and Beth Cate won the 100 fly in 1:03.30. Brenda Foster won the 100 free in 1:00.21 and Low took the 500 free in 6:07.70. Highline won the 200 free relay in 1:47.08 and Alyssa Stegin the 100 breast in 1:21.15. The Pirates also won the 400 free relay in 4:15.00.
CP-Renton-Tyee
Renton defeated Clover Park, 79-70, in Thursday's three-way meet and topped the Totems, 108-41. Tyee's Garisson won the 100 back in 1:32.34.
