Kennedy scored 36 points in the first quarter on its way to a decisive victory Saturday, Oct. 1.
Bobby Gentry started off with a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown and Trevor Steen kicked the extra point on his way to a total of seven.
Lonzell Hill struck on a 6-yard touchdown run before Jeremy Blandscored on a 70-yard and a 30-yard run.
Langston Copeland completed a 38-yard pass play from Zach Johnson and Gentry ran for a two-point conversion.
Bland then caught an 11-yard pass from Gentry and Steen added the extra point. Bland went on to catch a 22-yard pass fromGentry and Steen followed by kicking another PAT.
Mt. Rainier 42, Evergreen 20
Mount Rainier jumped out to a 35-0 lead before the Wolverines scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to make it closer.

The Lancers outscored Highline, 26-24, 25-21, 25-21, in action Monday, Oct. 3.
Stephanie Arntz drove home nine kills and four aces and Stephanie Slatt led with 16 kills with Rachel Moran leading with 34 assists. Ashley Eneliko scored six kills and three blocks while Kailey Hutchinson had nine kills and Brittany Montgomery five blocks. Angela Smith had eight kills.
For Highline, Ashley Vaughn led with 13 assists and Maria Klink led with seven kills and three aces. Kiana Sua led with 12 digs and Rachel Johnston recorded six kills.

Mount Rainier racked up a 25-6, 25-19, 25-23 over the Totems Monday, Oct. 3.
Sel Barakel chalked up seven kills and four aces, Luisa Kaufusi six aces and Shawna Madson four aces for the victorious Rams.

The Wolverines struck for a 25-16, 25-6, 25-20 victory Monday, Oct. 3.

Alvina Fesili had 18 assists for Mount Rainier as Sel Barakel scored six kills, and Luisa Kaufusi had 10 kills, three blocks and seven aces. Shawna Madson had 10 digs and Lynnae Wilson five kills.

Kaitlyn Heinsohn put the Pirates on the scoreboard in the sixth minute off a Whitney Wagner assist Tuesday, Oct. 4. Maddie Guidos then assisted Heinsohn in the 27th minute. Heinsohn scored again in the 29th minute on an Estelle Hage assist.
Jane Connelly put in a Kayci Donetteli assist in the 32nd minute and Donetteli scored on a Guidos assist in the 35th minute. Heinsohn scored unassisted in the 39th minute and Heinsohn on a Guidos assist in the 77th.

Highline's Beth Cate won the 200 individual medley in 2:15.95 and teammate Mica Bailey took the 50 free in 25.98. Cate captured the 100 butterfly in 1:02.51 and Highline also won the 200 free relay in 1:47.00.

Kennedy splashed to a victory Tuesday, Oct. 4.
The Lancers won the 200 medley relay in 2:06.03 and had Marianna White win the 200 free in 2:18.78. Brenna Grealey won the 200 IM in 2:48.13 and Courtney Strong won diving.
Rachael McKay took the 100 fly in 2:48.13 and Marissa Wenner took the 100 free in 1:48.63 Allie Vetterlein won the 500 free in 5:46.03 and the Lancers won the 200 free relay in 2:11.78. Kimberly Miller took the100 back in 1:13.50 and Brianne Lindblad the 100 breast in 1:13.50.. Kennedy finished by winning the 400 free relay in 4:07.97.

Andrea Aaronson won the 100 free for Evergreen Tuesday, Oct. 4 in 1:07.40.

The Rams posted a double win Wednesday.
Allyson Schumaker won the 200 free in 2:03.50 and Maria Rice took the 200 IM in 2:17.10 and Haley Gansneder won the 50 free in 26.64. Schumaker took the 100 fly in 1:01.60, Rice the 500 free in 5:42.05 and Mount Rainier the 200 free relay in 1:48.07. The Rams also won the 400 free relay in 3:59.51.

The Rams took second to Lindbergh with 53 points to the Eagles' 38. Kennedy scored 54 for third and Evergreen 100.
For the girls, Mount Rainier won with 34 as Lindbergh tallied 43 and Kennedy 50. Evergreen forfeited.
Mount Rainier's Prentice won the boys race in 17:28 and Vrbaner the girls race in 21:35.
Highline-Tyee
Renton scored 25 points to win on the boys side over Highline, 25-30, and Hazen defeated Highline, 22-33. Tyee forfeited to Hazen and Renton.
The Renton girls won, 20-41, over Highline and Hazen topped Highline by the same score. Tyee forfeited to Renton and Hazen.
