ACME Bowling, Billiards and Events in Tukwila, one of the largest bowling and event venues on the West Coast, is scheduled to open in mid-November.
An $8 million entertainment center, ACME blends state-of-the-art technology with completely smoke-free bowling, billiards, dining and event space areas.
"This is definitely not your father's bowling alley," Gary Larson, founder and general manager of ACME Bowling, Billiards and Events, says of the 51,000 square feet facility.
"With ACME Bowl, we've created an entirely new entertainment experience for the region. ACME Bowl is not only a great place to bring the entire family for a day of fun, but it's also the perfect venue for business meetings and corporate events." Noting that bowling has enjoyed a "tremendous resurgence ... as a fun, hip entertainment option," Larson said "ACME Bowl will appeal to both traditional bowlers as well as urban dwellers looking to discover, or in most cases, rediscover bowling."
ACME features 30 state-of-the-art public bowling lanes with customizable lighting and display designs as well as customizable "audio zones;" a 10-lane private bowling alley for special events and parties and a billiards lounge with seven tournament tables.
With three private meeting and event rooms; a video arcade with many never-before-seen games; a full-service restaurant with quality food, a bar, a cocktail lounge and on-site catering, ACME has the capacity to host up to 1,000 guests.
ACME Bowling, Billiards and Events is located at 100 Andover Park West in Tukwila, across from the Westfield Southcenter Mall.
