Applications are being accepted for the position of director from District 5 on the Tukwila School District Board of Directors.

The application deadline is Friday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m.

This vacancy was created by the resignation of John Richards.

To qualify to become a member of the board, a person must be a United States citizen, a qualified voter of the school district and a permanent resident of District 5.

(A map and description of the boundaries of District 5 are available upon request from the Tukwila School District office).

Candidates are asked to submit a letter of interest and a completed application to the Board of Directors, Tukwila School District, 4640 S. 144th St., Tukwila, WA 98168.
