Highline Medical Services Organization will sponsor a free "Doc Talk" for community residents on "Diabetic and Slow Healing Wounds."

The talk will be Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at Highline Medical Center's Somers Auditorium, 3rd Floor, Cedar Wing, 16251 Sylvester Rd S.W. in Burien.

The presentations will be given by Chris Porter, ARNP, who is board certified in family practice and certified in wound healing.

He will discuss the cause, exacerbations, treatment and prevention of slow healing wounds.
