At approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, a woman notified police that a man raped her at gunpoint in his vehicle near the 28800 block of Military Road in Federal Way.

The woman, in her twenties, claimed her assailant-a man she did not know-offered her a ride in his gold-colored Acura Integra and raped her at gunpoint in his vehicle along Military Road. The rapist let the woman leave the vehicle, and she walked to a local shopping center to call 911. Officers transported the woman to St. Francis hospital for an examination.

The victim described her assailant as a Hispanic male with a shaved head, moustache and tattoo on his abdomen. She described the rapist's gun as a medium-sized, black-colored, automatic handgun. She told police that the man wore blue or black jeans and a blue and white collared shirt.

After following up on a description of vehicle and plates the victim provided, officers surrounded the Rainier Continental apartments at 28623 Military Road South. Police found the suspect's Acura at the scene.

Officers conducted a K-9 search of the area but could not locate the suspect. He is considered still at large.
