2. Federal Way police responded to an alarm at Quality Rentals at 34815 Pacific Highway South. Officers arrived and discovered the glass door in front of the building was destroyed. Inside, thieves took a silver Zenith television, valued at $200. Nothing else appeared to be disturbed. The glass door was valued at $500.
3. Vandals damaged two vehicles at St. Francis Hospital at 34515 9th Avenue South. The owners of the vehicles, both night shift employees of the hospital, reported that their vehicles had sustained damage to the rear windows. Officers reported that the damage appeared consistent with a BB gun. Police have no suspect information at this time.
4. Officers responded to a verbal domestic dispute at 35429 11th Avenue Southwest. The woman there told police that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and she asked him to leave. The boyfriend complied with her request. The woman also said that the front door frame was broken during the argument but was unsure how it became broken. She said she thought the damage was an accident that occurred from him slamming the door.
5. Federal Way police were dispatched to 2694 Southwest 334th Place to serve a temporary child custody order. After serving the order, the mother clutched the child to her body and refused to surrender the child. She fought the police and tried to prevent the child's release. The child was removed safely and the woman was arrested and cited for obstructing a public servant and resisting arrest.
6. Police arrested a man for malicious mischief and third degree domestic violence at 27313 24th Place South, #16-140. The man was drunk and belligerent, punching the walls and causing damage to the residence. His actions scared his ex-girlfriend, with whom he as a child in common. The man was arrested and booked into the King County Jail.
7. On a routine patrol, Federal Way officers spotted a vehicle in the New Horizons parking lot at 33302 Pacific Highway South that belonged to April M. Sonnenfeld. Sonnenfeld had an outstanding warrant in Tukwila. She was later observed near the vehicle and was arrested without incident. She was handed over to the Tukwila PD.
8. Representatives from Foundation House at 32290 1st Avenue South contacted police to report the theft of $400 in cash. There are no suspects or leads in the case. The victim's son gave her $400 before going on vacation. The money was placed in a locked drawer inside her apartment.
