A former neighbor waved down a man who was seated in the passenger seat of a passing car. The two began to talk, when the man on the sidewalk reached into the car, grabbed the victim by the shoulder, and punched him seven times in the face. He apparently believed that the victim had reported him for illegal dumping in the apartment's garbage dumpsters. The driver was able to pull away. The suspect remains at large.

At 14th and Concord, three suspects approached a man, punched him repeatedly in the face and head, and rifled through his pockets. Two days later, the victim was still bleeding and decided to seek medical attention. Doctors report that he suffered several head fractures that will require further treatment. The suspects remain at large.

Late Sunday, as a couple sat on a park bench at 55th and Alki, two teens approached from behind. One was wearing a Halloween mask and black pants with multiple chains and buckles. He pulled a small revolver-style gun and fired it at the woman who, having been in the military, knew it was a fake weapon. She screamed to attract attention until they two fled. The second suspect was not wearing a mask. He is a stocky Asian male teen who wore a black hooded sweatshirt. Both suspects remain at large.
