LAKEHAVEN UTILITY DISTRICT
RECLAIMED WATER SYSTEM PROJECT
The Lakehaven Utility District (District) is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Lakehaven Utility District Reclaimed Water System Project. The EIS will focus on alternatives for the siting and construction of a reclaimed water system to include treatment plant upgrades, a conveyance system, and reclaimed water infiltration.
The purpose of this Scoping Notice is to invite interested agencies, tribes, organizations, and members of the public to comment on the scope of the EIS. The EIS will be prepared in accordance with the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) (Chapter 43.21C RCW), the SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC). The District will conduct a public scoping meeting on Wednesday, March 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the District's Lakehaven Center building, 31531 - 1st Avenue South, Federal Way, Washington. At this meeting you can hear about the project and comment on what should be discussed in the EIS. Comments may be provided at the Scoping Meeting, or mailed to the District Office at 31627 1st Avenue South, P.O. Box 4249, Federal Way, Washington 98063.
