Do you, the people of Burien, look at the big picture when you say no to the annexation of North Highline?

Many of us in North Highline, probably most, do all our shopping, eating out, banking and business in Burien.

Who receives the tax revenue? The city of Burien. Are you going to build a wall around your city so we spend our money in Tukwila or Seattle?

Do you really believe that if you let Seattle take all of North Highline that in a few years they will not take the schools into the Seattle School District?

What are your plans for the lost fire houses and part of the sheriff’s force when Seattle comes up to your border?

Think of the future of the area, not just tomorrow.
