1. A man called Federal Way police to report that he was having problems with some 8-to-10-year-old juveniles in his neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers said, the man demanded that they take a police report indicating that the juveniles has said some "lewd" words and touched his window. The juveniles did not damage his window. Officers explained to the man that the boys had done no crime. The officers told the man that they would talk to the boys, and later confronted the juveniles and asked them to stay away from the man's apartment.

2. Officers arrived at a residence on the 1900 block of Southwest 353rd Place, where a woman had contacted police because she was struggling with suicidal thoughts. The woman admitted to the officers that she had been contemplating suicide for the past few days. Her report also indicated that she told the police she was afraid of her stepfather, who had "punched (her) all over and pulled (her) hair." The alleged incident occurred in 2000, and no police report was generated from the assault. The family told officers that the woman was disciplined by her stepfather, not assaulted.

3. Officers arrived at the scene of a domestic dispute at 952 Southwest Campus Drive, where they discovered a couple involved in an argument. After interviewing both parties, the officers determined that no assault occurred. No injuries were reported or observed. When the officers conducted an information check on the boyfriend, they discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for DOC escape. Officers confirmed the warrant for Thomas G. Bosteder and transported him to the King County Jail without incident.

4. A resident of the 2400 block of Southwest 316th Street contacted police regarding a possible fraud occurring in the neighborhood. The suspect solicited money from the neighbors by misrepresenting the cause. The suspect sent his children to each home while the he waited in the car. One of the victims recognized the scam as one that was aired on the television news and called the police.

5. On a routine tour of the area, officers discovered a vandalized vehicle at an apartment complex on 2100 South 336th Street. Officers discovered that the car had several key scratches on all four sides of the vehicle car. They also discovered that all four tires had been slashed and the front license plate stolen from the green 1999 Honda. A contact at the apartment complex said the damage may be from the registered owner's ex-boyfriend.
