Kennedy 6, Evergreen 0
Eli Gordley started the Lancers off on their way to a shutout win by scoring on an unassisted in the second minute of the April 4 match. Tony Armitage scored in the 10th minute on a Josh Lewis assist and Lewis was assisted by Kyle Borden in the 12th.
Gordley was assisted by Ryan Monson in the 43rd minute and Jake Ambrozik scored unassisted in the 62nd and Rudi Muschet scored unassisted in the 65th.
Chris Blais and Sean Miller shared the shutout on goal.
Highline 6, Renton 2
The Pirates also enjoyed a high scoring win Monday, April 4
Isaac Joy scored the first goal in the 17th minute on a Daniel Michel assist and Armin Okanovik put in a Joy assist in the 24th. Evan Richter was assisted by Okanovik in the 27th and Okanovik was assisted by Ruben Rodriguez in the 29th.
Marshall Kosaka scored an unassisted goal in the 51st minute and Richter was assisted by Okanovik in the 68th.
Mt. Rainier 3, Tyee 0
Blais Smith and David Lugo shared the shutout for the Rams Monday, April 4.
Ali Abshir scored the first two goals -- oneon a Ruben Orozco assist in the 23rd and the second on a Jesse Bame assist in the 27th. Jarret Thomas was assisted by Al Nitzel in the 49th minute.
Kennedy 6, Renton 1
Eli Gordley started the Lancers off Wednesday, April 5 by scoring on a penalty kick in the first minute. JFK picked up an own goal in the seventh minute and Manuel Medina scored in the 17th minute on a Rudi Muschett assist. Travis Bull struck unassisted in the 30th. Jake Ambrozic scored on an Eli Gordley assist in the 38th minute and Muschett on a Medina assist in the 75th.
Kennedy 7, Tyee 0
Manny Flores earned the save as the Kennedy goalie, with Gordley scoring the first goal in the fourth minute on a Tony Armitage assist. Gordley assisted Josh Ambrozic in the seventh minute, and Josh Ambrozic scored on a Jake Ambrozic assist in the ninth. Gordley put in an unassisted goal in the 10th minute.
Manuel Medina scored on a Kyle Boyden assist in the 22nd and Nick Kramer on a penalty kick in the 34th.
In the second half, Christian Nichols was assisted by Travis Bull in the 45th minute.
Highline 3, Hazen 1
Evan Richter scored the tying goal on an unassisted play in the 29th minute, then Isaac Joy struck on a Marshall Kosaka assist in the 74th. Joy was assisted by Alex Schisel and Armin Okanovic in the 80th minute.
Mt. Rainier 3, Lindbergh 1
Ruben Orozco of the Rams scored the only goal of the first half in the 28th minute. Orozco scored again in the 46th minute off a Jarrett Thomas assist and Chris Chinen on a Mike Puccini assist in the 64th.
Renton 6, Evergreen 3
Jesus Cervantes scored an unassisted goal in the 17th minute Friday, and Christian Garcia scored on a Moses Rivera assist in the 45th. Rivera assisted Israel Robles in the 69th minute.
Track and field
Fife Invitational
Foster took second place out of six teams on the boys side at the Saturday, April 2 meet. The Bulldogs scored 118 points behind only the 120 of Washington.
The Foster girls came in fourth out of six teams, scoring 77 points to come in right behind the 80 of Eatonville.
Sullivan won the 300-meter hurdles for the Foster boys in 40.2 seconds. Foster also won the boys 400 relay in 44.9 and the boys 1,600 relay in 3:43.5.
Renton 95, Evergreen 45
Senio Kelemete of Evergreen won the shot put at 35-3.75 and he also took the discus at 118-0.5. Vincente Cordova won the high jump at 6-2, the long jump at 20-7.25 and the triple jump at 41-4.
Renton 111, Evergreen 23
Afereti won the shot put at 37-6 and the discus at 104-06.5.
Highline-Kennedy
Highline topped Kennedy Thursday with 90.5 points to the Lancers' 53.5. Lindbergh defeated JFK, 73-63.
On the girls side, Highline defeated Kennedy, 79-5 to 69.5, and Lindbergh defeated Kennedy, 80.5 to 69.5.
Mt. Rainier-Tyee
Hazen defeated Tyee, 116-18, on the boys side Thursday and Hazen topped the Totems, 117-15. Mount Rainier downed Tyee, 107-15, on the girls side and won, 92-21, on the boys.

Kennedy 10, Mt. R. 0
The Lancers outslugged the Rams Tuesday, April 4 in a game that was stopped in the sixth via the 10-run rule.
Karli Merlich struck out 13 in six innings but lost. She also hit 3-for-3 with three runs scored, two RBI and two doubles.
Sadie Vanderwal hit 4-for-4 for Kennedy with four runs scored and one RBI. Dew Spadoni hit 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and one RBI. Ashley Engel hit 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.
Highline 8, Hazen 5
Annie Herried won on the mound, throwing a two-hit shutout for the Pirates Tuesday, April 4. Mulvihill hit 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run scored forHighline and Mulvihill 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Powell 2-for-3 with a triple, one RBI and one run scored.

Merlich threw a one-hit shutout for the Lancers Wednesday, April 5 with eight strikeouts. She also hit 2-for-3 with one run and two RBI.
Maggie Whaley hit 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs and Peggy Mathison 1-for-2 with one run. Brittany Montgomery hit 1-for-2 with a double, one RBI and one run scored.
Tyee's Sanchez struck out 14 and walked only one but took the loss.
Evergreen 5, Hazen 3
Brandi Brown and Holly Johnson both hit 2-for-3 for Evergreen in last Wednesday's win. Shanna Shepherd hit 2-for-2 and scored three runs. Lisa Anderson won on the mound.
Tyee 7, Hazen 2
Emily Metzger threw until the seventh and earned Thursday's win for the Totems. Monique Sanchez hit 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored and Jena Ladenburg hit 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBI, two doubles and a stolen base. Shaffer hit 2-for-4 with one run, two RBI and one stolen base. Sydney Jacobson hit 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBI.
Kennedy 8, Evergreen 2
Taylor Trautmann hit 2-for-4 with a double for the Lancers Thursday and Ashley Engel 2-for-4 with one RBI. JFK's Spadoni hit 2-for-4. Peggy Mathison hit 2-for-3 with two RBI and Evergreen's Brandi Brown hit 2-for-3 with one RBI as Shanna West tripled and drove in one run.
Vanderwal strukc out seven and landed the win.
Ev. Luth. 2, Rainier Chr. 1
Miller won a complete game effort for the Eagles Thursday, striking out two and walking three. Gentele hit 1-for-3 with a double.
Peninsula 6, Highline 2
Herried hit 1-for-3 for the Pirates in Thursday's non-league loss.
Kennedy 8, Mt. Rainier 1
Merlich allowed one run on only three hits with 16 strikeouts in Friday's game. She also hit 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, two runs scored and four RBI. Vanderpol hit 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Montgomery 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Spadoni hit 2-for-4 with a triple and one RBI.
Baseball
Hazen 5, Highline 4
Hazen scored two runs in the bottomof the seventh to wrest the win away from Highline.
David Macey hit 2-for-4 with a double and Ben Guidos 1-for-3 with a double. David Wagner was 1-for-2 with a double.
Ev. Luth. 11, Summit 1
Evergreen Lutheran put Summit away in five innings by way of a 10-run rule. The Eagles outhit the competition,8-2.
Ev. Luth. 7, Summit 5
Summit became the Eagles' prey once again in the second game of a double-header.
Highline 7, Mt. Rainier 4
Brendan Gardner-Young allowed four hits and four runs while striking out four and coming away with the Wednesday, April 5 victory.
Teammate David Macey hit a home run with two RBI and Lucas Shaw hit 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI. David Wagner hit 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Darryl Morrow struck out eight in six innings of work while Rams teammate Cody Cox hit 1-for-3with a home run and two RBI.
Evergreen 4, Hazen 1
Ricky Willers started andwon the game for Evergreen in Wednesday, April 5 action. Zach Stockman hit 2-for-3 with one run, Tobias Togi 2-for-3 with one RBI, Ricky Willers 3-for-3 with one RBI and Derrick Solomon hit a solo home run in the fourth.
Hazen 11, Tyee 1
Jacob Elmore hit 2-for-2 with a double for the Totems in Thursday's loss.
Evergreen 13, Kennedy 6
The hits were even Thursday at 13-13, but not the score.
Josh Tarbuck hit 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and five RBI for victorious Evergreen. Tobias Togi hit a two-run home run and Ricky Willers hit 2-for-4 with a triple.
On the Kennedy side, Bobby Gentry hit 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles, and Bowell hit 3-for-3.
Highline 12, Lindbergh 4
David Macey won on the mound for the Pirates Thursday after coming on in the fifth. He also hit 3-for-4 and scored twice. Guidos hit 3-for-4 with two runs as well.
Highline 5, Evergreen 3
David Wagner hit a solo home run to help carry the Pirates to victory Friday, and Jeremy Evens hit 2-for-3 with one RBI.
For Evergreen, Will Hunter hit 2-for-4 and Zack Stockman hit 2-for-4 with one RBI. Josh Wells hit a solo home run.
Mt. Rainier 9, Kennedy 5
Cody Cox crushed a three-run home run for the Rams in Friday's win, as Cochran hit 3-for-4 with a double and Kyle Baskett 3-for-3 with two runs.
Bobby Gentry hit 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and three RBI to lead Kennedy.

Donnie Stallman of Highline won No. 1 singles Tuesday, April 4 by a 6-0, 6-2, score but Hazen won three matches out of five to win the match.

Tyee's Totems were swept aside in Tuesday, April 4 action.
Kennedy 4, Mt. Rainier 0
Kennedy earned a sweep against the Rams Wednesday, April 5.
Bryan Thorp won No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1, and Austin Johnson won No. 2 singles by default.
Jason Lim and Fraser Chan won No. 1 doubles, 6-0, 6-0, and the No. 2 duo of Connor Thorp and Seth Brooten won, 6-0, 6-2.
Lindbergh 3, Evergreen 1
Evergreen's win came in No. 2 singles as Daniel Nguyen won, 6-1, 6-1.

Chan won No. 1 singles for the Lancers Thursday, 6-3, 6-2, and Jason Lim took No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Connor Thorp and Austin Johnson teamed up for a 7-6 (8-6), 7-4 to win No. 1 doubles. Timmy McLean and Kingston Sprague won the No. 2 doubles match, 6-2, 6-3.

The Rams took a loss to the Highlanders Thursday, with the only win by a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-1) score by Trevor Thompson in No. 1 singles.

Highline swept all four matches from Renton Thursday.

Jane Connolly won No. 1 singles for Highline by a 6-4, 6-4 score and teammate Robin Senirajjangkul took the No. 2 singles match, 6-0, 6-1. Jennifer Cheadle and Megan Peterson of Highline combined for a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 No. 1 doubles win.

Amy Van and Sinard Chao of Tyee won the No. 2 doubles match Tuesday, April 4 by a 6-4, 6-4 score.

Mount Rainier won both singles matches Wednesday, April 5 on its way to victory. Jenjira Vorasane took the No. 1 singles match, 6-2, 6-2, and Eva Ghirmai won No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-1. Kim Kramer and Amanda Hartz were 6-7 (2-7), 7-5, 7-5 No. 1 doubles winners and Katie Weythman and Lorrin Rondeau won No. 2 doubles, 6-4, 6-1.
