NOTICE OF HEARING
2006-0150
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Notice of Intention has been filed with the King
County Council proposing the annexation of approximately sixty-three acres of land into the Southwest Suburban Sewer District, known as 2006-2 Island Annexation (Woodside Park-Manhattan Village), for the purpose of providing sanitary sewer service.
A public hearing before the Metropolitan King County Council is to be held in Room 1001, King County Courthouse, on April 24, 2006 at 1:30 p.m.
A description of the area is as follows: Beginning at a point on the east-west centerline of Section 32, Township 23 North, Range 4 East W.M., located in King County, Washington, said point lying on the easterly margin of 1st Avenue South, a distance of 45 feet east of the West 1/4 corner of said Section;
Thence Easterly along said East-West centerline of said Section 32 to the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Block 4, Plat of Manhattan Village as recorded in Vol. 50 of Plats, Page 24, Records of King County, Washington;
Thence Northerly along the East line of said Lot 7 to the Southerly margin of South 183rd Street;
Thence Northerly across South 183rd Street to the Southeast corner of Lot 18, Block 3, said Plat of Manhattan Village;
Thence Northerly along the East line of said Lot 18 to the Northeast corner thereof which is also a point on the South line of Lot 7 said Block 3;
Thence Easterly along said South line to the Southeast corner of said Lot 7;
Thence Northerly along the East line of said Lot 7 to the South margin of South 182nd Street;
Thence Northerly across South 182nd Street to the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Block 2, said Plat of Manhattan Village;
Thence northerly along the east line of said Lot 7 to the North line of said Plat;
Thence westerly along said North line to the West line of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 32;
Thence Northerly along said West line 164.05 ft.;
Thence North 85¡19'21" West 120.00 feet;
Thence North 4¡19'13" East 85.00 feet;
Thence North 85¡19'21" West to a line which is 220.00 ft. easterly of and parallel to the centerline of Occidental Avenue South;
Thence Northerly along said parallel line 65.00 feet;
Thence North 85¡19'21" West to a line which is 180.00 ft. Easterly of and parallel to the centerline of Occidental Avenue South;
Thence Northerly along said parallel line and its northerly extension to its intersection with the centerline of Normandy Road;
Thence Northeasterly along the centerline of Normandy Road to its intersection with the centerline of Ambaum Road South;
Thence Southerly along said centerline and along the West line of the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 32 to the southwest corner of the E 1/2 of said NW 1/4, being also the northwest corner of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 32;
Thence southerly along the west line of the E 1/2 of said SW 1/4 to a point on the north line of the south
1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 32;
Thence easterly along said north line to an intersection with the east line of the west 230 feet of said subdivision;
Thence southerly along said east line to the North line of the South 30 feet of the North 1/2 of the South 1/2 of Southwest l/4 of northeast 1/4 of Southwest 1/4 of said section 32;
Thence Westerly along said North line to the East line of the West 30 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said section32;
Thence Southerly along said East line to the South line of the north 30 feet of the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of Southwest 1/4 of northeast 1/4 of Southwest 1/4 of said section 32;
Thence Easterly along said South line to the East line of the West 230 feet of the south 1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 32;
Thence Southerly along said East line to the south line of the northeast 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 32;
Thence westerly along said south line 230 feet more or less to a point on the west line of the E 1/2 of said southwest 1/4, being also a point on the north line of the southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 32;
Thence Westerly along said north line to the easterly margin of 1st Avenue South, which lies 45 feet easterly of and parallel with the centerline of said 1st Avenue South;
Thence Northerly along said easterly margin to the point of beginning.
