I am a life-long resident of Washington and Des Moines for 10 years. I moved from Federal Way after a home invasion and several car break-ins.

Recently, I have noticed an increase in the type of activity that can lead to crime. And, was accosted in Des Moines Beach Park where I had felt safe to walk.

I feel the Levy Lid Lift is needed and necessary to support our police and give them the tools they need to keep Des Moines a safe community to live.
