1. Federal Way officers were dispatched to a female that was located near 2109 Southwest 336th Street. The woman told police that she was assaulted in Tacoma and dropped off in Federal Way. While walking to the Tacoma Mall, the victim stated, she thought someone hit her in the head, knocking her unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself in Federal Way at an unknown location and her cell phone and wallet had been taken.

2. A woman called police after making a call to her grandmother. On the other end of the phone, the woman's report stated, she heard her father yelling at her in the background. When officers arrived at the grandmother's residence on the 34200 block of 18th Place South, she told police that her son was yelling at her but no physical contact occurred. A computer check of the father, Michael D. Reitan, showed that he had an outstanding Federal Way warrant. Officers arrested Reitan and booked him in the Fife Jail.

3. A woman, who lives on the 2000 block of South 302nd Place, contacted Federal Way police to report fraud against her checking account. The woman's bank, Bank of America, contacted her to report that several checks had been used to make purchases. The woman had already reported that the checks were stolen from her mailbox and that she had closed the account. The checks were written for three purchases and Target and Best Buy stores.

4. Federal Way officers stopped a blue 1990 Toyota near the intersection of 34800 21st Avenue Southwest shortly after 10 p.m. on April 14th. The driver, later discovered to be Caleb R. August, was pulled over for driving without headlights during the hours of darkness. After running August's name through the system, officers determined that he had an outstanding Fife warrant for driving with a suspended license. Federal Way police took August into custody and transported him to the Fife Jail.

5. Federal Way officers responded to a domestic violence call at a multi-tenant dwelling on 2405 South Star Lake Road. Officers contacted the involved parties, who all live together, and interviewed them separately. They each admitted being involved in an argument over relationship matters and all stated there had been no assault. There were no visible injuries, the officers' report stated. One of them, Johnson Keowongphet, had an outstanding King County warrant, which the KCSO confirmed. Officers arrested Keowonphet and transported him to the Peasly Canyon park and ride for a warrant meet.
Hitchhiker becomes potential rape victim
6. A possible rape victim was observed walking in the area of 36000 Enchanted Parkway South, where she was attempting to hitchhike a ride to Tacoma. When approached by a citizen, the woman reported an attempted rape by an unknown male. The victim refused cooperation or medical aid.
