Saying he was going to make her life a _living hell_ until he moved out, an estranged husband brought a pit bull to the family home, poured a beer on his wife, and broke down a door. In front of the children, he held her down by the neck, spat in her face, and called her a variety of names. A family friend arrived and separated the two just as officers appeared on the scene. The 28-year-old suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault and property destruction.
Friday afternoon, three males in their late teens approached an acquaintance who was walking with his child near Delridge and Brandon. They punched and kicked the man, who suffered a fractured jawbone, fracture sinus and eye socket. A split upper lip required 13 stitches. He was transported to Harborview by medics. The child was not injured. The suspects also stole the man_s wallet, which contained $142.

Sunday evening, a man was booked into King County Jail after violating an anti-harassment order against his neighbor. He had called 911 seven times, alleging noise violations and gunshots by the victims_none of which were reported by other neighbors in the densely populated area. He told officers he felt that the neighbor_s children were violating the law by playing in the street. Before leaving, officers told the man that the noise was not excessive and that the children were playing safely. Soon, 911 operators received a call from the victim, saying that the man was outside video-taping them, in direct violation of the court order. Based on the accounts of numerous witnesses, the man was arrested. The victim also gave officers one of the nail-studded clay balls that the man has allegedly leaves around where they might injure children, pets, or pedestrians.

Officers were called to the Westwood area to investigate a man sitting naked outside. (He has a history of assaulting officers.) Items were strewn all over the yard, and the man barely responded to questions. The man_s pastor called 911 to report that the man had been off his medications for a week and that the man_s wife had left the home in fear and had been staying elsewhere. Officers convinced the suspect to check into Harborview for an evaluation.
