Over 60 years ago a remarkable generation of Americans, our friends, fathers, mothers, grandparents, and our youth joined forces during World War ll. Now 59 years later, the City of Seattle is planning to desecrate a war memorial dedicated to our youth who gave their lives fighting for our freedoms.
High School Memorial Stadium was dedicated Thanksgiving Day l947 to honor this remarkable generation.
How soon we forget the sacrifices our youth made going into war directly out of Seattle schools. How dare you. Seattle, and shame on you to even think about desecrating a War Memorial honoring the youth?
Do we really need another parking garage in lieu of a War Memorial?
By the way, West Seattle High played in that Thanksgiving dedication. I am not going to give you the outcome.
