Sunrise May 26, 1922- Sunset July 25, 2006. Passed away suddenly on July 25, 2006 at age 84. Kossy is survived by Mary, his loving wife and best friend of 56 years, children Kathy (Nelson), Janet (Jim), Sharon (Steve), John, Dave (Kim), Carol (Gordon), Chris (Mike), Mary, twelve grandchildren, Jimmy (Kelly), Krista (Colin), Jason, Nathan, Seth, Jenny, Jessie, Nick, Stephanie, Joe, Allison, Julissa, three great grandchildren, Taylor, Alyvia and Jimmy, and a host of family and friends. He was a man dedicated to his family, which he worked hard to provide for as a 10 year Navy man and a 30 year Boeing machinist. In his own words "My riches come in the form my wife and kids." Besides his family his passions were woodworking, yelling at the Mariners on T.V. and long trips to the casino. Pleas join us in celebrating his life. Visitation at Howden-Kennedy Funeral Home, 3909 SW Alaska St, West Seattle on Sunday, July 30 at 5 p.m., with Vigil following at 7 p.m. Funeral at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4139 42nd Ave SW, West Seattle, Monday, July 31st at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holyrood Cemetery.
