Highline-area Medic One paramedics will be among the beneficiaries of the Northwest Vehicle Nationals Car Show fundraiser in Covington.

Proceeds from the event on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Covington Wal-Mart will benefit the Medic One Foundation.

The foundation helps provide King County Medic One paramedics with training, knowledge and experience necessary to offer the best chances for survival.

The Northwest Vehicle Nationals Car Show, hosted by the Cartell Car Club, is a classic good time for the whole family. It will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Over 150 trophies will be awarded to over 55 classes of vehicles, and there will be activities for both adults and children.
