Darlene was born in Tenino, Washington September 4, 1936 and passed away in Tacoma on July 31, 2006. She spent her youth in West Seattle, moving to Tacoma 19-1/2 years ago.

She was a member for 35 years of the West Seattle Eagles. She is survived by Jim, her loving husband of 52 years 8 months; daughter Terri; son Jim Jr.; sisters Lavilla (Victor) and Gladys (Keith); her brother Ken (Pat). She leaves behind three grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and best daughter-in-law, Helen. Memorial services will be held August 12th at 10 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, 320 W. Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, Washington 98371 (253) 845-0536. Darlene was very sick the last five years. Rest in peace, my love, you deserve it. I will always love you - God bless.
