Nora was peacefully taken to Heaven on July 28, 2006 where she joined her late husband, Jim, and eldest son, Dennis.
Nora was born in Seattle on February 8, 1931 to Robert and Myrtle Fullerton. Experiencing a hard life growing up, she promised herself that her children and their children would have a better life. She gave exactly that, bestowing upon her family, as well as her friends, her strength, kindness and a love that no other could give. With open arms, a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen, she was always there to help.
She was an extraordinary woman; full of life, full of love, always giving and always supportive. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors, whether she was merely working in her garden or out camping with family. Traveling played a large part in her life, as she explored most of the United States and even cruised through the Panama Canal and Alaska with her husband. A definite book worm, she loved to sit outside and read. She found pleasure and peace walking her Yorkshire Terrier, Molli Sue, every morning, and also delighted in visiting her dearest friend, Evelyn Douglas and her two Yorkies.
Nora is survived by two children; son, Thomas Pratt (Betty) and daughter, Cheri Pratt, four granddaughters; Jami Arroyo (Vernon), Tori Pratt (Gary), Ashley Malmgren (Keith), and Jodi Pratt, and two great-grandsons; Jessup and Gary and grand dog Sassi. She is also survived by two sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews. As well as by those directly related,
Nora will be remembered by the people she referred to as "extended family members"; she never felt that family should be restricted by blood.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in her home where her family and friends can celebrate her life.
