NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION AND DEADLINE FOR CLAIMS
The Board of Directors of the Seattle Monorail Project has adopted Resolution No. 06-41, adopted August 17, 2006, requiring publication of this Notice. The Seattle Monorail Project Board of Directors is in the process of dissolving the Seattle Monorail Project and terminating its operations and, accordingly, is publishing this Notice in several newspapers of general circulation in the City of Seattle to inform the public that:
(1) The Seattle Monorail Project will soon be dissolved.
(2) Any and all claims which anyone may have against the SMP, including but not limited to any claims for refunds of special motor vehicle excise tax collected by or on behalf of the SMP, must be made in writing to the SMP at 1904 Third Avenue, Suite 108, Seattle, Washington 98101, and received by SMP on or before December 4, 2006.
(3) Any claim not received by SMP by December 4, 2006, will be barred.
This Notice and the procedure set forth herein shall not apply to claims for relocation payments, which have already been covered and a deadline provided pursuant to Resolution No. 06-07, adopted on January 17, 2006.
