A local woman took out an anti-harassment order against an acquaintance who was harassing her by calling 8-10 times a day. The suspect called while an officer was at her residence, was told to stop calling and was warned that he was breaking the law. He laughed, said he didn_t like police, and challenged the officer to come to his house. He called again 5 minutes later and made specific threats against the officer's posterior. The officer called King County Police (the suspect lives outside of Seattle) and reported that the suspect should be arrested for harassment. King County reported that the man had just contacted them, alleging that a Seattle officer had threatened to come to his house with a gun. When King County officers returned to arrest the man, the big talker jumped out his bedroom window as soon has they knocked on his front door. He remains at large but knows he is not to call the victim.

While patrolling near Seola Beach, an officer stopped a car with expired tabs and a defective taillight. As the officer approached the car window, the car sped down a dead end street, hanged a U-turn, slammed into the officer's car and kept going. The 17-year-old driver ignored traffic lights and signs before crashing against a cement light pole at East Marginal Way. He was caught and booked into the Youth Service Center for investigation of vehicular assault and attempt to elude. Two of his three teen passengers were injured and transported to Harborview.
