You are hereby notified that a Petition for Termination of Parent-Child Relationship has been filed alleging your child to be dependent and praying that a order be issued declaring said child to be dependent and that all parental rights be terminated and said child be declared under the jurisdiction of the court for such disposition as the court deems best.
You have important legal rights and you must take steps to protect your interests. In order to defend your parental rights, you are summoned to appear at a court hearing at 1:30 p.m. on 30th day of October, 2006 at the Kitsap County Juvenile Court, Kitsap County Juvenile Center, 1338 S.W. Old Clifton Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366. If you do not appear at the hearing, the court may enter an order without further notice to you.
You have the right to speak on your own behalf, to introduce evidence, examine witnesses, and receive a decision based solely on the evidence presented. You have a right to have a lawyer represent you at the hearing and help you by looking at the files, talking to involved parties, helping you to understand your rights and the law.
