1. Officers arrived at the scene of a physical domestic dispute called in from an apartment complex at 27912 Pacific Highway South. Upon arrival, the officers spoke with the suspect, who stated that after a physical argument about her leaving the home, she "trashed" all of her partner's belongings. She told officers that she asked the victim to call police. The victim concurs with this story. Over $1500 in damage was done in the home home, some of it with a knife. Both parties denied any physical assault. Officers snapped a few photos of the scene. They also arrested the suspect, but later released them from the station and gave them a voucher for a hotel.

2. On October 1, around 4 a.m., Federal Way traffic officers pulled over a 2000 Oldsmobile after it collided with the sidewalk around 100 South 333rd Street. Officers contacted a female driver and a male passenger. The female told police that she swerved to avoid a cat and collided into the sidewalk of South 333rd Street. Officer didn't buy her story though, and conducted a sobriety test on the driver. They placed her under arrest for DUI, and she was later released from the station to her mother.

3. The driver of a white 2005 Chrysler contacted Federal Way officers to report that an unknown person or persons had broken into his vehicle while parked outside his residence on the 1400 block of South 320th Street. The thieves lifted 146 CDs, valued at $1,000 as well as a fully array of military equipment with a value of more than $4,000.

4. On October 26, at approximately 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting at the 30500 block of Pacific Highway South. Investigators interviewed numerous individuals as part of the investigation. Two individuals (16 and 18 years of age) were detained and questioned in connection with the shooting. They were later released at the police department. The investigators have identified the individual responsible for the shooting as being Darnell Parks. The investigation determined a dispute between two groups of juvenile males started the altercation. A Hispanic juvenile male suffered a single gunshot wound and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His injury is non-life threatening.
