Michael Barnes, 55, who was hit by a sports utility vehicle while crossing Tukwila International Boulevard in the 14600 block, died of his injuries on Dec. 21.

The Tukwila resident's death was ruled an accident.

Tukwila police said he was not in the crosswalk when a Ford Explorer driven by a 60-year-old woman hit him at about 6:10 p.m. on Dec. 19. Investigators said the woman was not expected to be charged.
