Debris from December's powerful windstorm will be collected beginning Monday, Jan. 8, from all single-family residences in SeaTac.
There will be no charge for this service.
Residents simply need to place yard debris at their curbside before 7 a.m. It will be picked up through Jan. 12.
Only branches and trimmings under 4 inches in diameter, 4 feet long and 40 pounds per bundle will be collected.

In Burien, free windstorm damage inspections are being offered to city residents.
City building inspectors can help determine whether permits are needed for windstorm damage repairs.
To request a windstorm damage inspection, call 206-248-5525. The city will try to schedule these inspections within one business day of the request.
If a building permit is required, the city will attempt issue it over the counter on the same day of the request. If possible, permit applications should include pictures of the damage.
Permits for major structural repairs might require construction plans. A list of local structural engineers is available at www.seaw.org/resources_residential.cfm.
Plans for structural repairs will be reviewed within one or two business days.
