Swedish Medical Center's Ballard Campus welcomed its first baby of the New Year on Jan. 1 at 6:12 p.m. The baby boy, named Shawn, was born to Bangdien and Calvin Bailey of Everett. The 7-pound, 2-ounce baby boy measured in at 19 inches long and was delivered by Stephen Slack, M.D.
