The Pirates prevailed in a game that was stopped after five innings by the 10-run rule Wednesday, March 21.

Mount Rainier rode the 10-run rule to a five inning win over the Totems Wednesday, March 21
Brittany Copenhaver hit 4-for-5 with five runs, two RBI and two triples and Sarah Ferrin hit a double and a triple and scored one run. Sarah Martinez hit 3-for-3 with a home run, four runs and two RBI and Ashley Messmer 3-for-5 with a triple, five RBI and two runs. Kelly Parsons hit 2-for-3 with a triple, three runs and one RBI.
Shaffer hit a home run and had two runs for Tyee as Ladenburg tripled and scored one run and Wright hit a double.
Evergreen 13, Highline 4
Evergreen crushed the Pirates in a six-inning game Wednesday, March 21.
Johnson hit 2-for-3 with a double and Sheppard 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Wolverines. Highline's Kayla Carlile hit 2-for-3 and Randi Dry hit 2-for-3 with a home run.
Kennedy 5, Lindbergh 0
Karli Merlich threw a seven-inning no-hit shutout Wednesday, March 21 with 12 strikeouts and no walks. Merlich also hit 2-for-3 with one RBI and Deavonnie Spadoni hit 2-for-4 with a double.

Highline 4, Kennedy 2
Mowlid Hersi scored unassisted for the Pirates in the 28th minute of play Tuesday, March 20 and Armin Okanovic struck unassisted in the 38th with Hersi striking again on an unassisted play in the 48th. Marshall Kosaka found the back of the net on an Andres Suazo-Ramirez assist in the 53rd.
For Kennedy, Skylar St. Yves scored on Christian Nichols assists in both the 39th and 64th minutes.
Mt. Rainier 6, Lindbergh 0
Blaise Smith and David Logos combined for the shutout on goal for the Rams Tuesday, March 20. Tucker Rockwell started the Mount Rainier scoring onslaught with a goal on a Brad Bodle assist with 6:30 elapsed and Jerrett Thomas scored on an Arnoldo Jose Orozco assist at the 25:15 mark. Chris Chinen put in a Rockwell assist in the 46th minute and A.J. Nitzel on a Thomas assist in the 66th. Derek Coburn was assisted by Rockwell at 71:42 and Rockwell assisted Thomas at 74:21.

Hazen scored in the 10th minute Tuesday, March 20 and then held on from there.

Marshall Kosaka started the Pirates on their way to victory Thursday with a score in the 10th minute on an Andres Suazo-Ramirez assist. Umela Ugwoaba knocked in an Evan Richter assist in the 20th minute and Richter scored on an assist from Armin Okanovic in the 50th minute. Richter struck again in the 64th minute off a Nick Reynolds assist and Josse Lomeli scored unassisted in the 75th.
Renton's only goal was by Steve Stoutenberg in the 72nd minute.
Girls golf
Fife 232 strokes, SCS 235
Seattle Christian was edged by only three strokes against Fife in Tuesday, March 20 non-league action. Elizabeth Keith of the Warriors won with a score of 51 and Alexandra Keith shot a 53 for second.

Seattle Christian
The Warriors took second out of four teams on the girls side Thursday and third out of four teams on the boys.
Fife won the girls meet with 105 points ahead of SCS (52), Orting (52) and Life Christian (41). Fife also placed first in the boys meet with 126 points ahead of Orting (80), SCS (39) and Life Christian (35).
