Boys soccer

Tyler Hanson scored both goals for the Raiders in a Wednesday, April 11 game. The first came on a Miguel Toscano assist in the 74th minute and the next on a penalty kick in the 78th minute.

Ricco Sanchez struck unassisted in the 25th minute for the only goal in the Wednesday, April 11 match.
T.J. Young earned the shutout on goal for the Titans.

Miguel Toscano of Thomas Jefferson tallied a trio of goals for the Raiders in their lopsided Monday, April 9 game. Billy Brisbois, Ernan Romar and Lenin Ramirez added one goal each and Brian Bosshart, Chris Hicks and Andrew Dizon all shared the shutout.

Sanchez scored the goal and Young provided the shutout as the Titans put away Puyallup Monday, April 9.

Vinton Lane shut out the Kent-Meridian Royals on goal last Monday, April 9.
Kevin Olsen, Omar Cruz and Kelyn Rowe all scored. Rowe had two assists and Cruz had one.

Tahoma scored 13 runs in the top of the seventh to put a game out of reach even more out of reach.
Brock Gates of the Gators hit 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI and Steven Hagdahl hit 2-for-3 with a double. Brady Kincannon hit 3-for-4 with three RBI in the Wednesday, April 11 action.

Ronnfeldt and Goforth combined on a six-hit shutout in action Wednesday, April 11. Ronnfeldt struck out four in five innings before being relieved by Goforth.

It took nine innings to settle the issue between the Raiders and Falcons Tuesday, April 10.
Anthony Tomyn of TJ hit 2-for-3 including a game-winning RBI single. Cameron Smith hit 2-for-5 with a home run and Drew Staples hit 2-for-3 with a home run. Andrew Jones hit 2-for-4.
Beamer 8, Curtis 7
Visiting Todd Beamer scored five runs in the top of the seventh to tie Thursday's game at 7-7, then scored one in the 12th to come away with the win.
Brian Corliss took the mound in the 11th and won in relief. Matt Hart hit 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one home run and Dustin Martin hit 4-for-6.
Curtis scored six of its runs in the bottom of the second and one in the fourth.

Heath Hart threw a one-hit shutout against the Raiders on a rainy Friday, while Dustin Horsfall hit 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Johnson hit 2-for-3 with two RBI and Andy Racus 2-for-3 with a double.

The Raiders were shut out on two hits by Kentlake's Felicia Harris. A double by TJ's Erin Fujita was one of only two hits for the team all day. Harris struck out 15 and walked none, while TJ's Jill Halvorsen struck out nine in seven innings but lost.
Track and field

Thomas Jefferson took 10th place on the boys side out of 16 teams, scoring 37 points. The Raiders were 12th in girls action with 23 points in the Saturday, April 7 meet.
Sofia Malumura won the shot put at 37 feet, 7 1/2 inches and she took the discus at 109-06.
Chauncy Gammage took third in the boys 110 hurdles in 16.68 seconds.
