Holy Rosary School says the recipients of the 2007 archdiocesan awards for leadership were honored at a recognition ceremony on April 27.
For Leadership in Faith, Sammie Pless and Colleen Kane were selected because they live out their faith through kindness, respect and regular service in the school, parish, and community. For Leadership in Academic Achievement, Madison Beiler and Hope Miles were chosen because they are committed students to learning and encourage classmates to do their best.
For Leadership in Co-curricular Participation, Jazmine Brown and Claire Fritts are leaders in extracurricular activities and multiple CYO sports. Both display a "can do" attitude with classmates. For Leadership in Community Building and Service, Tommy Clarke, Jason Helle, Matt Meucci, Blake Pedersen, and Chris Potter are being recognized for their efforts in helping each student become respectful of the unique gifts of others and to be inclusive at school and in community service.
They were further honored at a special ceremony by the Rev. John Madigan at the school last week.
