Barnyard
Show begins at 9:45 p.m.
When the farmer's away, all the animals play ... and sing, and dance. Otis and his fun-loving friends live a care-free life full of parties and practical jokes, while Otis' father, Ben, works hard to keep the farm running successfully and the farm animals safe from enemy coyotes. When Ben is able to work no longer, Otis is forced to grow up quickly and take on the role as leader of the farm. When his new responsibilities prove arduous, mayhem breaks loose. The farmer begins to discover the animals' secret life, and the safety of the farm comes into question as Otis struggles to maintain order.
Friday, July 20
Night at the Museum
Show begins at 9:35 p.m.
Night at the Museum is an action-adventure-comedy that comes to life by night. Good-hearted dreamer Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), despite being perpetually down on his luck, thinks he's destined for something big. But even he could never have imagined how "big" when he accepts what appears to be a menial job as a graveyard-shift security guard at a museum of natural history. During Larry's watch, extraordinary things begin to occur: Mayans, Roman Gladiators, and cowboys emerge from their diorama to wage epic battles; in his quest for fire, a Neanderthal burns down his own display; Attila the Hun pillages his neighboring exhibits, and a T-Rex reminds everyone why he's history's fiercest predator.
Amidst the chaos, the only person Larry can turn to for advice is a wax figure of President Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), who helps our hero harness the bedlam, stop a nefarious plot, and save the museum.

Happily N' Ever After
Show begins at 8:50
Cinderella (a.k.a. Ella) is forced to set aside her "damsel-in-distress" state of mind and lace up her combat boots as she engages in a battle to save Fairy Tale Land from her wicked stepmother and an alliance of evil-doers. In this satirical interpretation of the classic story of Cinderella, the wicked stepmother seeks revenge on her hated stepdaughter when she seizes power of the Wizard's staff and, thus, control over the land. Fairy Tale Land faces the reality of life as if it were happily never after. The entire balance between good and evil is thrown out of alignment as Ella gathers a team of honorable characters together in an attempt to restore all that is right.
Friday, August 31
Charlotte's Web
Show begins at 8:25 p.m.
This classic novel by E.B.White tells the heart-warming story of a young girl named Fern Arable who saves the runt of a litter of pigs, naming him Wilbur. The two quickly become an inseparable pair until the little pig outgrows the Arable farm and gets sent to Uncle Homer's place. Wilbur is forced to deal with a harsh reality when he learns of his awaited fate on the chopping block.
Just when it seems the world is crashing down on him, Wilbur finds a new friend in a wise, kind-hearted spider. The spider uses her talents to intricately weave messages of inspiration and acclaim, making Wilbur famous and improving his chances for survival. This touching story is uplifting, as it reflects on the importance of friendship and loyalty amidst the brutal realities of life.
All films begin at dusk and take place at Steel Lake Park. The park is located at 2410 South 312th Street. Each showing is free and the content of each movie is suitable for all ages.
