I would like to welcome a new restaurant into the Burien area. It is Germaine's Country Kitchen, which has moved into the old "Rudy and Sally"s " facility. This is the second owner since Rudy and Sally gave up the business a few years ago.
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the sign for "Fresh, home-style cooking" at prices everyone could afford. The atmosphere is that of the '50s and '60s and the service is wonderful. I would hope that the Highline Times would write an article about these wonderful people who are willing to finally offer some good old American food for a decent price.
This site has not been the best in the Burien area but I hope everyone that was a customer of Rudy and Sally, and all the other American food restaurants in the area, would take the time to try it out.
