St. Bernadette School in Burien recently received a $5,500 grant for the purchase of new computer LCD projectors from the Puyallup Indian Tribe.
Tribal representative Lena Landry presented the grant to Joe Budde, the school's principal.
It will pay for computer projectors for the four middle school classrooms and the science room, which will allow teachers to effectively instruct students using individualized programs and materials available through the Internet.
Students can use the classroom equipment to demonstrate individual and group projects, artwork, writing, web design and other technology-based skills as an integrated component of their education.
