Todd Beamer High School rolled its girls soccer juggernaut right over the Rogers Rams, 9-0, at Federal Way Memorial Field Thursday.
The Titans improved their South Puget Sound League South Division to 4-0-0 in South Puget Sound League South Division action and ran their overall record to 6-0-0.
"It's a good year to be a Titan," said Beamer head coach Carrie Hentschell (Boers in her playing days at Decatur High School). "We're just solid."
There's a reason for the Titans' solidarity.
"These girls, the core group, has been together for four years," Henstchell said.
Brittany Orr started off the scoring convincingly enough, taking a Megan Miller assist and shooting into the back of the net in only the second minute of play.
Holland Crook connected on an unassisted play eight minutes later before Orr scored again on a Nicole Peterson assist in the 32nd minute.
The shot curved around the left side and into the goal with 8:32 left to play in the half.
The Titans took command with two more goals before the half to make it 4-0. Peterson scored on an Orr assist at the 4:55 mark on a corner kick play. The hot shot went off the Rogers goalie and in.
Beamer scored again with 1:11 left until the half, with the shot going right across to the left side, where Crook punched it on in. Kaylee Huie earned the assist on the cross.
The second half scoring started with 33:23 remaining in the match.
Orr earned the assist after Sara Petosa put her pass on in.
Huie knocked a shot over the top of the goalie with 18:36 to go to make it 7-0 and Jordan Salisbury drilled it in from close-in in a crowd to run the lead to 8-0.
Crook picked up her third goal for a hat trick on a hard-kicked shot with 1:40 left. It was Crook's third hat trick over the last three games.
"It's a fun team to watch," said Hentschell after the final whistle blew.
The next action for Todd Beamer is a 3:30 p.m. home game against Graham-Kapowsin at Federal Way Memorial.
