Spats and spittle

Four boys have been temporarily removed from a local elementary school after bringing a BB gun, two knives (one a switchblade), and a box cutter onto school grounds. And if that arsenal had proved insufficient, one of the boys allegedly told students his uncle could supply some guns. The 10- and 11-year-olds are apparently involved in a disagreement with other classmates.
Another disagreement between classmates led to a free-for-all at the Morgan Walgreens on Sunday. Employees told a girl to leave after she caused a disturbance with a teenage customer. But she returned with eight or 10 other male and female teens. One had a stun gun and began "jabbing" it toward the teen victims, their mother and grandmother. Her accomplices began throwing candy and merchandise, striking some victims and employees in the face. All of the suspects fled the scene, and one boy stole several sweatshirts from a display as he left.
A teenager was apparently miffed that she had missed her stop at Delridge and Thistle, but the Metro driver said he'd stop for her at the next scheduled location (Delridge and Kenyon). To show her gratitude, the girl spat in the driver's face as she exited.
Check those bills: Two females driving a blue Cutlass-type vehicle passed a counterfeit $20 bill at an Arbor Heights yard sale last week. Both suspects were white, had blonde hair and a heavy build.
A woman parked on California Avenue Friday afternoon and was immediately approached by a "creepy" older man with a camera and tripod who began taking pictures of her and her vehicle. He did not stop when she asked him to and told her to "go ahead and call the police." Officers are familiar with the man, who claims to be documenting violations of parking laws. But most of the recent complaints about his behavior have come from women. He has been told to stop taking pictures and to call the police non-emergency number if he has concerns about parking issues.
Unknown persons entered a fenced yard in the Fauntleroy neighborhood and stole seven gas-powered lawn mowers overnight Sunday. Earlier in the day, the mowers had been in the victim's front yard with "for sale" signs.
Monday at 9:15 a.m., a woman was startled by a noise coming from the kitchen of her small North Admiral apartment. She looked up and saw a young man's head coming through the window. When he saw her, he fled in an unknown direction.
A burglar was probably on a real "high" after a successful break-in at a South Park-area business. The company is a medical marijuana clinic, and the burglar's haul consisted of five pounds of marijuana and 40 packages of herbal "tea" that also contain marijuana. Also missing was $350 from the company safe.

Five domestic violence incidents were reported in greater West Seattle last week.
