Kennedy marched to a decisive win over the Totems Saturday, Sept. 29.
Tre Watson scored the first touchdown on a 74-yard kick return and Karl Antush kicked his first of five successful conversion kicks in as many attempts. Daniel Martiniello followed Antush by kicking two in as many attempts later in the game.
Everette Thompson caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from Nolan Washington and Dominic Shepperd scored on a 13-yard run. Watson returned a punt 68 yards for a touchdown and Washington returned a punt 27 yards for a touchdown.
Derick Lewis rumbled for a 57-yard touchdown run and for a 4-yard touchdown run to cap off the scoring for the Lancers.
Tyee got the final word in as Thomas Willis caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from Dante Green. A kick for the conversion failed to leave the final at 56-6.
Renton 41, Highline 0
The Pirates were shut out by Renton in Saturday, Sept. 29 action.

Highline 3, Evergreen 0
The Pirates posted a 25-22, 25-18, 25-23 win over the Wolverines Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Samantha Erben had 27 digs for Highline, while Shannyn Fisher had nine kills, Sala Mafua five kills, 12 digs and three aces and Lynette Owusu nine kills and three blocks. Chika Ugwoaba added six kills and Julia Vigen had 28 assists. Chelsea York scored four aces.
For Evergreen, Amy Gambill had 15 kills, four blocks and three aces and Ratelinia Siatunuu nine kills and 12 assists. Lina Siliga scored 14 assists and Erene Togi five kills and four aces.

The Lancers were 25-7, 25-12, 25-18 winners over the Eagles Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Ashley Eneliko had eight kills, Amanda Zilke six kills and Brianca McCluskey 20 assists.

Mount Rainier emerged as a 25-5, 25-13, 25-10 winner over the Totems Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Brittany Coperhaver had six aces and Hellen Barakel five aces for the Rams and Melissa Yapp added six kills.

Seattle Christian took a 25-14, 14-25, 25-10, 25-21 loss to Vashon Island on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Megan Collier scored six kills for the Warriors and Annika Linman had 10 digs and 13 assists. Cody Pitts came through with 14 digs and Faye Torrejon had 16 digs

Kennedy was a 25-17, 25-9, 25-16 winner over the Highlanders Thursday. Marissa Bittenco and Amanda Zilke had four aces each and Ashley Eneliko and Rachel Sanders both had three aces. Kayleigh Fulton scored 12 kills and Brianca McCluskey had 21 assists.

Rebekah Kurle scored the first two goals for the Lancers Tuesday, Oct. 2, with Julia Besagno earning the assist off the first one and the second being unassisted. Jackie Thomas scored the third goal on a penalty kick.
Mt. Rainier 5, Hazen 0
Jillian Schneeman and Sarah Martinez shared the shutout for the Rams and Martinez also scored the first and second goals on respective assists from Shelby Blair and Jarin Storrs. Martinez then assisted Blair, before Becky Harris scored unassisted and Blair knocked in a Harris assist.

Seattle Christian went all the way through two overtimes and a shutout to win its Tuesday, Oct. 2 match.
Terrika Weaver scored the first goal in regulation time off a Tianna Homad assist before Weaver turned around to assist Homad.
Weaver, Jackie Rodgers, Allison Mitchell, Homad and Rachel Busick all scored in the shootout.
Highline 5, Evergreen 0
Stephanie Hoag and Angela Pacholski split Thursday's shutout for the Pirates.
Kaity Mendoza scored first on a Maddie Guidos, then Norma Lomeli scored on a Mendoza assist, Alannah Anderson on an unassisted play, Guidos on a Mendoza assist and Maddie Davila on an Anderson assist.

Terrika Weaver struck on a Tianna Homad assist to get things started Thursday and Homad knocked in a Jordan Fremmerlid assist. Homad then struck unassisted and Allison Mitchell scored unassisted.
Boys golf
Kennedy 43, Hazen 32
Aaron Taylor took first for the Lancers last Tuesday, Oct. 2 with a round of 40 and teammate Jonathan Janson tied for second with a 44. Michael Del Mundo tied for fourth with a 47.
Girls golf

JoAnna Cox and Rachel Forey of Kennedy tied for first place with rounds of 51 in the Tuesday, Oct. 2 action. Jaden Johnson took third with a 52 and Kendall Ring fifth with a 60.
