Shorewood Community Candidate Night will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Hazel Valley School, 402 S.W. 132nd St., in Burien.

Following introductions, candidates will begin speaking at 6:45 p.m.

Invited to Candidate Night, in the order they are scheduled to speak, are:

Port of Seattle Commission candidates Gael Tarleton and Bob Edwards for Position 2, and Alec Fisken and Bill Bryant for Position 5.

King County Council candidates Dow Constantine and John Potter.

Highline School District candidates Bernie Dorsey and Melissa Robinson for Position 4.

Southwest Suburban Sewer District candidates Bill Tracy and John Jovanovich for Position 2.

Burien City Council candidates Stephen Lamphear and Gordon Shaw for Position 4, and Ed Dacy and Kathy Keene for Position 6.

Audience questions will follow their presentations.
